How to enter the rate
The rate is the number of destination-currency units received for one unit of the source currency. If a hypothetical quote is 0.90 destination units per source unit, entering 100 gives 90 before any charges. That number is an illustration, not a current quote.
Why could the amount received be different?
A provider may deduct a fixed fee, apply a different rate or add other charges. Compare the provider’s final amount received against this reference. A quote date records the date you enter; it does not verify or refresh the rate.
Can I reverse a quote?
Mathematically, the reciprocal is 1 divided by the rate. A provider’s reverse transaction may use a different buy or sell rate. For the same source and destination currency, use a rate of 1.
